New Pattern
A semester system is introduced for the academic year 2008-09 for B.A. Part-I.
The Examinations are based on credit system.
- External Examinations.
75 Marks = 3 Credits
- Internal Examinations
25 Marks = 1 Credit
(Practicals / Tutorials /Projects / Internal tests / Presentations etc.)
Internal & external is a separate head of passing.
Details will be provided in due course.

Select any one subject from the following :

- Combined Applied Components (CAC)
Travel & Tourism is compulsory
OR
Vocational Courses (only for English medium students)
Students can select any one subject from the following :
- Computer Application
- Principles & Practice of Insurance
- Tourism & Travel Management
(Vocational subject will replace 2 papers : 1-A.C. & 1-D.C.
The course will be open for English Medium Arts as well as Commerce
students, as the seats for the voactional courses are limited. The admission will be granted
on the proficiency of English language, merit and personal interview.

*B.V.A.(Bachelor of Visual Arts)
- It is a full-fledged four year course in Art & Painting.
- Only those who have passed XII with Art & Painting as one of the subject
or passed grade exams in Art & Painting will be considered.
- The candidate has to clear the aptitude test conducted by the Dept. for admission as the seats are limited(only 25).
- The student will have C.C.English in the three year and A.C.Hindi in the first year only.
