The objectives of the department-


  1. To impart students a complete depth knowledge in painting and a rigorous practical training.
  2. To make the art education more academic, systematic and at par with the other institutes imparting art education.
  3. to train the students into an artist and also to integrate them into social system.
  4. to respond to job orient approach.
  5. To appeal to the students for higher education.
  6. To raise the standard of higher education in creative field.
  7. This course itself will help them to have admission in other institute if they want to move out to both national and international institute.
  8. To make them competitive in the creative field.
  9. To increase the possibility of them having better jobs and advanced courses.
